Hey, yes a few 3D lessons would be nice, espiacially about the hard stuff like piro figures. A vid in which you explain how to tune an OS 55 e.g. correctly would also be great.

Hey B&B,
Its great that you guys are doing this!
Here are some topics of which I’m suggesting:
1. Engine tuning, from opening the box to wringing it out – how to setup, what to listen for, how to troubleshoot, etc.
2. Assembly tricks, what are you doing to make your models fly as smooth and reliably as possible?
3. 3D moves broken down, corrections, planning transitions
4. How to see like a pro! What are you guys watching when you’re flying the model an inch off the ground – how do you practice for that level of control

Hi!
I suggest a bling column that looks into which aftermarket upgrades that make a difference. Like plastic fan vs. quick UK fan, vs. gforce fan (2x) Especially about items that are availble from more than one producer. (fans, bearing blocks, swashs, paddles, etc)
Looking forward to your first episode!

Don’t forget about the beginners. Maybe some tips on hovering in different orientations or basic flying techniques. It’s one thing for someone on a forum to say “learn to hover in all orientations” but it’s much better to actually see a demonstration. Add in “homework” for pilots to work on each month so that over the course of several months people can get from basic hovering to flying circuits, to eventually some 3d flying. Each month builds upon the previous month’s exercises.

how about regularly feature a heli model fully fitted out and flown by a pro: list the exact config down to the transmitter settings governor headspeed esc settings. everything someone needs to dream they can in theory config the same bird.

Great stuff! Missed a sentence or two about the pro’s and con’s about stuff like carbsmart, and maybe somthing about transitions from idle to hover on 50 hyper vs 55hz in regards of the different carbs. And maybe a word about hanging on the pipe (ok or not) during autos.
But most importantly: Make this a weekly show instead of monthly

How about some tips about competing; from putting together a routine to what the judges look for. What does it take to be competitive. Tips on dealing with the nerves when flying in front of people….etc.
Thanks

hi dudes …if u want i can make a 3d banner animated banner for your videos… “smaktalkrc ” all i need to make me the work easyer its the typo ans if u have a smaktalk pic big …so i can trace the break parts and make it look the same..as your logo..
other thing maybe u can use green screen . for example in bert comentary about tunning …and the light also was caming and going all the time ….if u gonna use something else for mic like in the bobby interview make it more funny …for example instead of the carbon rod with a mic on the end ….why not a tail boom with all the componentes..
(any way i just love the video …i make all this comentarys cause i like so much that i wanna help u guys to make even better ..
i work as a filmaker …i have 20 year in the industry here in argentina and i love to give u a helping hand in any way posible )
thanks so much for the video and keep it caming
ps . sorry about my english

How about a nice video/session on Pitch/Collective setup starting from the swash and up, go over the details on linkage setup, pitch range, collective amounts needed and their effects, too much pitch/collective and effects and how to measure/setup and adjust to one’s own flying style/tastes.

Hi Bert & Bobby
it would be great to see your setup techniques for a 700 swash and heli cof g gyro, transmitter configs, the full works.
cheers Dave

Did you guys use a directional boom mic when demonstrating the different nitro sounds in the first video? If not, may I suggest that you do so in the future? It was very difficult to hear the differences in the first video.

Hey Bert and Bobby,
How about a video on setting up throttle servo. It’s a pain. Maybe on a DX7.

I like the idea of showing 3d moves, but as a new flyer what i would like to see is a beginners set of 3d moves. Which moves do you recommend first and then which to do next.

What we really need is stickers!!!!!
Something for the Vehicles and small ones for the helicopter canopies!
It will help get the word out beyond apparel!!
