Poll: Would you like to watch short episodes too?
Feb 6th
We’re thinking about releasing short episodes “SmackTalk Quick Tips” lasting 10 to 15 minutes each focusing on anything specific, such as teaching a particular 3D maneuver, specific setup tips (throttle servo/linkage setup for example), etc. These episodes would be released in between each regular episode and they would cost anywhere between $0.99 and $1.49.

We are experiencing technical difficulties
Jan 22nd
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but within a few minutes of opening our site, our server got hit with so many download attempts that it couldn’t handle the load. We have been forced to temporarily shut downloads down, but are working diligently to get a more robust server as well as better bandwidth within the next 24 to 48 hours. If you purchased a video from us and were unable to download it, please let us know by completing this contact form and we will resend you a download link.
Once again, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

Welcome to SmackTalk RC!
Jan 1st
Hi everyone,
Thanks for checking out our web site! We would like to take this opportunity to explain what we have been working on. For quite some time, after answering countless PM’s and emails about new products, flying tips, setup suggestions and technical questions, we have felt that there is a need for a technical and informative monthly video that everybody can view and learn from. We have learned so much in our time in this hobby, and by no means have mastered it all, but we are very eager to have a chance to spread this knowledge with others in the RC Helicopter community. The basis for our videos is simple –technically educational but entertaining as well. We are both characters and don’t want this to be a boring series, so we will strive to make it as entertaining and informative as possible. Along with technical talk, we will discuss flying tips, show some footage of us in our travels to Fun Fly’s and Events, and will also have interviews on every episode with friends and fellow flying buddies.
We will be releasing new videos on a monthly basis, or as close to monthly as possible. Average length should range between 30 and 45 minutes with no commercial breaks or anything like that. Because we do not have any advertisers or really want any, we have chosen to make each video available at a small fee of $2.99 per episode. When you purchase one of our videos, two files will be available for download –a High Definition video file, and a lower definition file that is iPhone and iTouch ready so you can watch our videos during your travels. Since we do not have advertisers or any companies sponsoring our video series, it allows us to have complete control over the content and allows us to make what WE feel is important. We feel that this is the most important part of our undertaking because we want to make a video for the pilots without any politics or company issues getting in the way. The possibilities are pretty much endless with what we can do in the series, so we are both extremely excited about this!
We hope you enjoy the series and hope that you find our tips and tricks helpful. If you have any questions, comments, or show ideas, please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks again for watching!!
Sincerely,
Bobby Watts & Bert Kammerer
